Slide Change Delay Question

I've read over all of the different posts regarding lag, delay, slowness and more. But, is it typical to experience a 3-4 second delay from the time that you press the right arrow and the time that the slide is advanced? There seems to be a delay and jumpiness associated. I keep thinking with each update it will get better, but no luck so far. 

I'm running on a Macbook Pro with 8GB of RAM and a 2.6Ghz i7 and have also tried it on a Macbook Air with similar results.

Hi Anthony,

The delay you are describing is longer than ordinary from our experience at least. Here is an experiment you can try. We found on one laptop that advancing using the arrow keys was quite slow, but if we connected a presentation remote (an RF clicker type, in our case) and advanced the slides with the remote instead of the keyboard the transitions were almost instantaneous. Maybe worth a try?
