Smart Tags on Microsoft Word - Office 2010

Is it possible to activate Smart Tags to work with Logos 5 Bible Software. I run Microsoft Office on an Intel Quad Core 3.2 GHZ computer. The Operating system is a 64 Bit program. I used the Smart Tags when I ran it on Microsoft Office 2007 and it ran well. But I can't get it to work on the current system. Can someone help me to get it set up and going.

Steve, in Office 2010 Smart Tags are gone and replaced with Additional Actions. I don't have my 2010 Office software on this machine so can't walk you through it, but the info is on the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Smart_Tags

Also, Smart Tags is not supported on Office 2010 64 bit (by Microsoft) - you must be using Office 32 bit, which would require a re-install of Office. Being on 64 bit Windows is ok though.

This isn't strictly true; it does support Smart Tags, except all the smart tags have to be rewritten as 64-bit. Because Microsoft thought that the chances of this happening for every smart tag were fairly low, they recommend against using the 64-bit version if you want to use smart tags.
We do have a 64-bit version of the Logos Smart Tag available, if you are running 64-bit Office. It's not distributed as part of Logos 5, but you can download it from this forum post: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/65493/460778.aspx#460778

Bradley,
I was SO thankful to find your post today. Due to Microsoft Windows clobbering my Office 365 installation so badly it required Microsoft Tech support to manually scrub the old installation, I unknowingly ended up with the 64 bit version installed. While I couldn't find ANY way to run the power shell (no option to select options that I could find), your instructions at the link worked just fine to register the dll, & it works fine.
Grace & Peace,
Bill
