Passage Guide config is confusing for me
For the commentaries section in the passage guide I'd really like to only show commentaries in a collection of favourites I have as per v.3
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the Commentaries section to only display results from the Collection I have set up. I would appreciate some help this.
It would be really nice if there was a drop-box menu beside Commentaries and it listed "All commentaries/Collection 1/Collection 2/etc"

CalebI have not found this either. So much we could do with 3.0 is missing from this version. It takes the shine of it.

We actually had this feature, you had a list of resource collections that you could check on/off, however it was really buggy and we couldn't fit it into Beta 1. Currently you may add a Collections section when editing the guide template (you can get there by clicking the panel-menu icon in the top-left corner of the panel, and selecting edit template) and from there you can add a 'Collections' section, however multiple collection selections should be available in Beta 2.

One thing I have done is used the priority function to set a higher priority to those commentaries I use most. This has worked well for me because I use just a handful of commentaries, at least initially. As it is the PG window will list about 6 resources immediately below the commentary bar. I really like how 4 automatically organizes an entire series of commentaries. This was such a daunting task under 3 that I didn't even bother.
One thing that escapes me, and maybe I've missed it somewhere, is how do I close and keep closed a section under the PG? For instance, if I don't want "Bible Places", "Bible Things", etc. initially opened when I use the PG how do I set that section closed and keep it closed? Even if I created my own PG, I only have a choice of including or excluding the section. Every time I open Logos these sections will be opened. As I recall this wasn't the case in 3.

Looking forward to custom commentary collection being in place and looking forward to the ability to add multiple collections. Without these a custom passage guide is nice but not terribly useful.0 -

James,
Please see this thread, when Bob offered the possibility of default passage guides

It has also been raised elsewhere as a search of the forum indicates.

This still seems broken in Beta 2 but I don't see it mentioned in the release notes. The PG template editor has several sections where a Collection can be specified but there is no selection tool next to the "Collection:" label.
