Getting to know the FaithLife Study Bible
I just found out that this app is created by Logos. Nice surprise, since I own Logos Scholar (Silver) 4 and have a Kindle Fire HDX. I wanted to use the main app; however it doesn't seem to work.
Hence, I'd like to know how to make the most of this app? My personal background is moderate charismatic. Are specific Bible translations linked to certain materials? Ex. NASB - NASB Commentary or Lexham English Bible - Yale Bible Dictionary??
Can I configure or what? I'm also using the YouVersion Bible. The only drawback is the need for Internet access. Does FSB act similarly?

What do you mean by "the main app" and in what way doesn't it work?

No they are generally kept separate allowing you to use the Bible of your choice with commentaries / study Bibles of your choice.
The study Bible itself does have hard-links to specific resources.

Yes - as above you can mix and match Bibles and reference works as required.

Internet access isn't required for reading and following links (assuming you have already downloaded the required resources) but tools such as "Text Comparison" do require Internet access as the actual function is executed on Logos servers and reported back to the app.

What main app? I am referring to the Android app that Logos made for those using an Android powered tablet, Kindle Fire HDX or Google Nexus. I couldn't get my Kindle to recognize it. Yet, it installs on my phone. The FSB app is a nice alternative.

I'm not aware of anything specific to the Faithlife app but - assuming there is - I am sure someone else will point it out.
To get you started:
- When you open the reading view within the App you will see two panels - I suggest you use the top one for a Bible and the bottom one for a study Bible or commentary
- Click on the top panel to select it, press the "menu" button and navigate through the panel which comes in from the left until you get access to the library. Choose the Bible you want and it will be displayed on the top panel
- Repeat for the bottom panel and choose a study Bible, commentary, etc
- Press and hold the small semi-circle separating the panels and set "Link Panels" to "On" (this will keep them in sync). This semi-circle can also be used to adjust the relative size of the panels.
- Then when you scroll through the Bible the study resource should keep in step
(Apologies that some of the steps above are a little vague, I am running the beta release of the new version which has changed some of the way this works so can't provide the exact steps)

It looks like the videos need updating. The app screen doesn't even look like what I have. I don't mind that an Android is being used; but I thought the app would be the same.

I believe this videos relate to the Bible app (which you said above you were having trouble with) as opposed to the Faithlife Study Bible app
