This update will be posted to the blog and by email to all mac users tomorrow morning, but I wanted to get it up as fast as possible.
Some users have been reporting Proclaim crashes on the recently released OSX Mavericks. Obviously, this is not acceptable in presentation software. We've been working hard to identify and resolve the problem, but we do not expect a resolution before Sunday. If you make presentations from a Mac, please delay your update.
We recommend you wait a month to update the operating system on any computer from which you plan to run a Proclaim presentation. Any new release brings bugs, security leaks, and unforeseen compatibility issues along with it.
What should I do?
If you are presenting from a Mac running OSX version 10.8 or older, wait a little longer to update. We'll notify you here when this problem has been solved, and then you can update with peace of mind that your presentations will run smoothly like you've come to expect.
If you've already updated to OSX Mavericks, locate a PC or Mac running OSX version 10.8 or older for your presentations this weekend. You can download Proclaim for free on an unlimited number of computers.
We'll post an update here once we have the issue resolved, so you can update with peace of mind. Thank you all for your patience as we seek a resolution.
