    I have all 3 in print. They are highly recommended, yes. Gulley is the leading Adventist systematic theologian today, and has been for many years.

    Volume 1 was a bit technical for those of us who are not specialists in systematic theology and philosophy. It dealt with hermeneutical and methodological issues.

    Volume 2 deals with the trinity and different attributes of God. Volume 3 on creationism and salvation. Gulley constantly engages with a wide range of scholars so you get a good introduction to the important names and ideas in theology. But his passion seems to be to show how all the attributes and actions of God reveals different aspects of His love.
