Morphological Searches
Currently we do not have the check boxes for morphological searches (as far as I can tell). Is this just missing for the moment, or are there plans not to include it?

Many felt that the check boxes where confusing and overwhelming. The new approach should be just as powerful, but even easier to use.
You can either enter the codes manually or simply click the terms that you'd like to search for.

Ah! Thanks. I didn't even try typing I was too busy looking for the check boxes.

An extremely dubious statement -- at least when it comes to Hebrew. There seems to be no provision for finding a noun bases on whether it is determined (or not) or whether it is in the construct state.

The last couple of weeks I've been wishing for the good old v3 check boxes and "Add to Search"!

I admit you probably used the morph filter more then I did, but I prefer the current method :-)

I've used both and to my mind; neither is head and shoulders above the other...they are just different.
My only comment would be that to a "newbie non power user" would they catch on to the idea that you have to type the syntax into the box @ and ONLY THEN do you get options for morphology?

It's just that the @ method trips all over itself with suggestions when you don't need them, exacerbated by its sluggishness, and then can't perform a simple AND, OR query (Logos Morph) like:
@V??P??G BEFORE 3 words (@NG, @JG)
UNLESS you spell out longhand (more typing!!)
(@V??P??G BEFORE 3 words @NG) OR (@V??P??G BEFORE 3 words @JG)

I have to say that I like the new format in general, once I learned about the @ sign. It's nice that you can either click options or type them, so you aren't forced to learn that J = adjective, but you can if you'd like.
Also, I agree that the shorthand needs to be fixed so that (@NG, @JG) or (@NG OR @JG) works. Interestingly, typing @NG @JG into the morphology box of a syntax search does work. My guess (hope) is that this will get ironed out pretty soon.
