Using a Mavericks
Why, when 'On Air' does the attached set up fail to play the MP3 file set?
Hello Mike,
I cannot seem to reproduce the issue you are having. Do you mind providing steps to reproduce this bug? I put a video into my warm-up loop, set it to use background audio, and went on-air; the mp3 seemed to play correctly.
I don't think that I can add much...
For the last two Sundays the 5 minute countdown video has started on time but the background audio set in the Warm Up label has not played.
I have a hunch that the problem is the specific audio file you are trying to play. Do any other audio files work? Do you mind telling me the specifics of the audio file?
Hi Spencer,
No - the other file last week didn't work either. I don't have a musician and a very small group of people so seek out recording that can be sung along with rather than just instrumental tracks. My work flow is to purchase the track, (usually from the iTunes store) – download the track into iTunes – create and MP3 using the iTunes app on the computer – copy the MP3 into a separate directory – upload the MP3 to Proclaim. These tracks play normally when used within the body of the service but not as background to the countdown.
I am so looking forward to being able to use a track directly from iTunes without all this palaver of downgrading the recordings.
Sorry for the late reply. I was able to reproduce your issue with a specific track that you used but not with any other audio files. I am still investigating this issue today and once I can consistently reproduce the issue, I will file a bug report.
