3755.Index Alford Eastertide.docx
0361.Index Chrysostom Alms.docx
6433.Index Bernard Advent Christmas.docx
These files are intended to be added to a single PB ... one adds the files for which one has the resources.
These files are less than ideal:
- I have made tags beginning with "Calendar" to stand in place of a liturgical date
- I have created complete dates when only year or range of years is known
- I have not used footnotes to identify forced data because footnotes are not allowed on the metadata
- I have not distinguished lectionary readings from sermon texts nor noted non-Biblical text that serve as the basis of the sermon
- I did not attempt to mark sermons within a series
- I have not added topics and tags generally in that I would like to match Logos/Verbum terminology
Nonetheless, I think these are a good proof of concept. I'd love to get input from others on the usefulness of such a sermon index ... and then approach Andrew and Gabe re: some possibilities for improvements - especially in the linkage back to the Logos resource.
What do you all think?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
