Hi all,

So I've been following this forum for the last few months and decided to dive into the Logos ecosystem. I'm aware of the soon coming SDA packages but will take my chances now to start using this wonderful system. My question is this. What package should I go for at the moment and what should I add to it ?  I know this is a broad question. The only thing I'm sure of at the moment is that I want to get the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary Expanded Edition and a few other resources.

    Hi all,

I always say this, buy what you are going to use.  I purchased the L3 Original Language package, and I have added on the books that I know that I will used.  While my cost per book is much higher than most, the amount of $$$ I have spent is by far lot less than what a lot of people have reported here on the forums.

I am not sure if you know this, but the program is free.  I have not upgraded my package when the upgrades came out.  I keep upgrading the software by using their free program.

You can down download the free program (http://wiki.logos.com/Installation_and_Indexing_FAQ$27s#What_is_the_direct_link_to_Logos_installers.3f).  Then you can down load some of their free books (http://wiki.logos.com/Free_Logos_Books).

Thanks for your reply. I went with the starter package, Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary Expanded Edition and the Charles Spurgeon Collection (149 vols.) That's pretty much all I can chew on at the moment. [:D]

For anyone looking to get Logos and all the advance tools and can't afford the higher price packages, to unlock them. The way I went was with the starter package and add the minimal crossgrade to unlock the more advance tools.
