Moses as a Type of Christ (untitled excerpt from John Jortin's "Remarks on Ecclesiastical Histor
I just raved about John Jortin over in the Suggestions forum, and would love to see his works come out in CP.
But in the meantime, here is a little teaser, a section from his Remarks on Ecclesiastical History where he discusses the correspondences between Moses and Christ that show Moses as a type of Christ.
I have not taken the time to find the references in external works (Herodotus, Eusebius, etc.) that are available in Logos and hook them up as links. Given that many of his sources are in Greek or Latin, and I don't read either language, it would have been a very hard task to do that accurately.

This looks interesting. Now I'm going to want the entire set in Logos but maybe that was your not so subtle purpose. [;)]

No, my main purpose in creating that document was to share an answer with someone else who was asking about Moses as a type of Christ here.
