Proclaim On Air Problems

For two weeks now, I've been having trouble with the on air display. I hook up my Mac (os x mavericks) to projector/monitor and when I hit "on air" the presentation displays on my laptop instead of the projector. And I can't get it to present on the projector/monitor. The master control/designer screen disappears when this happens as well. When I click on the "settings" panel and choose "identify monitor" the numbers 1 and 2 appear on the same screen. Need some help with this. I've fiddled with every combination, but the 1 and 2 always appear together. Please help!

It sounds like your OS is confused about the location of the secondary display. What happens when you use Displays in Mac System Preferences? Do you see both displays? Did you upgrade your OS recently or is this a new problem on the same OS version?

It might be. When I use displays in mac system preferences, everything else seems to behave normally. It works as an external display and i can see both displays just fine. I did upgrade my OS to Mavericks about two months ago, but even after that proclaim was working fine. All of a sudden two weeks ago, this problem started.

Hi Shin
A couple of unofficial suggestions for you. Both have worked for me at odd times when this has happened. I actually think that Proclaim doesn't play nicely with Mac users that have a habit of shutting the lid, moving to church, and then opening the lid with the projector connected.
1. Make sure that these settings are correct.
If that fails...
2. [I don't bother with including 'Powerpoint' stuff in Proclaim preferring to run Keynote in another space.]
a) Switch to another space and launch Keynote.
b) Check to see keynote is displaying properly if not hit 'x' on the keyboard to swap displays.
c) Swap back to Proclaim (perhaps restart) and see if anything has changed.
c) If that works start a new thread requesting that the 'x' trick be incorporated into Proclaim

I tried out your steps. That didn't work. Any other ideas?
