Powerpoint rearranging layout of slides

When I pull over powerpoint presentations, the layout and alignment of some text within the slides is pulled over to the right, often pulling text off of the slide entirely.  I cannot figure out how to fix this, please help me out.

    There are some issues with layout in the third party library we use to import PowerPoint presentations. They seem to be related to specific themes and fonts in the source ppt document. If this is causing issues for you I recommend saving the PowerPoint document as jpegs (from withing PowerPoint) and importing as an image slideshow.
