How do I jump to subsequent points where a topic is indexed in the same resource?

In L3, when I have a topic as the active index in a resource, and if that topic is also indexed at other points in the resource, a little down arrow appears in the box, which I can click on to move to each of those points. This is the digital equivalent of looking up a topic in a print index at the back of a print resource and thumbing to each of the listed pages.

In L4, when I first type a topic in the box at the upper left of the resource window, if that topic appears in multiple places, I will see multiple entries in the drop-down list of suggested matches. Once I've selected the first one, how do I move from there to the rest of the entries?

All I've found so far is to re-type the topic in the box and then click the second entry, and then the third entry, etc.

Not quite sure what you're asking but you can open the "table of contents" and move around in a resource that way

Do a search on that resource and that will give you all of the places the term appears...

Can you show a screen shot of what you're looking for?

I'm not sure about L3, as I no longer have it, but in Accordance search results has a pair of arrows at the bottom of the window (For some reason, they are labeled Mk). Clicking the down arrow will take you to the next hit for the search item. You can cycle through each hit without needing another window. Clicking the up arrow will move you back through the results.

This would be a good feature for L4.

My example that I think is what you are trying to do, I want to find all places in the KJV referencing Moses. So I do a Search of All Passages in KJV for Moses. I get a table listing of all the references (see below), and while that pane stays up I can click through them and read the entries I am interested in.

What I'm asking about involves only secondary resources, not Bibles. Here's the specific scenario that triggered my question:

I'm looking at the Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels, and want to find introductory-type information about the gospel of Matthew. I type in the box "matthew". I see a drop-down list that has one entry for "Matthew" (presumably the person) and 9 listings for "Matthew, Gospel of".

As I understand it, those 9 listings for "Matthew, Gospel of" correspond to the printed book's index entry, and link to the 9 pages where an indexing editor identified significant discussion of the topic of Matthew's Gospel.

In L3 an arrow would appear in the box, and I could click it to cycle through all those 9 places. I can't find anything really comparable in L4.

I do see "Headwords" as options on the right-click menu. These look like they are the topics that are indexed at that particular spot in the resource. I went to the article in the Dictionary titled Matthew, Gospel of and tried to use the R-click "headword" to get a list of the other 8 indexed entries. Instead, I got 17 search results for the phrase "Matthew, Gospel of"--all of which are things like "see Matthew, Gospel of"--not what I had in mind.

With L3, for books that have good topical indices, I can have the benefit of an editor's human intelligence to help me find information, and a closer replication of the experience of using a print resource, as well as the power of the Logos search engine's "artificial intelligence" algorithm. In L4 I see lots of emphasis on the search AI ("ranking" of results, e.g.), but I don't want to give up any of the human intelligence that resides in my resources.

I had some associates who served as Pastors to WVA congregations in White Sulphur Springs and in Lewisburg, one of whom was very critical of the politics and people of the area.
