Would Like to run Proclaim from Ubuntu

I realize that there is little chance of Proclaim being released for Ubuntu.
However, for personal reasons (money for personal computers) I would like to be able to at least make my changes from a machine running Ubuntu.
I would like to do this without having to dual boot or run a virtual machine as those would both require a Win OS disk.
Has anyone had any success running it with something like Wine?
I could set up remote access through any number of options, including using Chrome extensions, but that would require leaving a computer with Proclaim turned on and accessible all the time.
