Templates and Content - Suggestions

This isn't by any means an issue with the program, but rather an observation of things. My church just recently started using the Proclaim software for our services, and I happen to be in charge of compiling the presentations each week. In order to have a well-matched, clean looking template, I created my own backgrounds for most of the slides.

It would relieve a great deal of stress and also cut down on the time it takes to make presentations each week if I could create a presentation template of my own using the slides I've prepared. I do know you can re-use items, but having a template I create and simply edit for each service would actually be much easier than creating a blank presentation, adding items, and then editing those items each time.

It is also more than a little frustrating when I change the background on a slide and all the formatting to the content I made goes out the window. I think being able to create a template would also help with that.

Have you tried duplicating an entire presentation? You can do this in the open menu using the right click context menu. Create a "template" presentation and duplicate it to get started each week.

This issue will be addressed in the next major release.

I honestly had no idea you could do that. That should definitely help. Thanks!
