blank background in customize mode

Often, when we customize a content slide, the background and text are blank. Yet when we go back to edit mode, the graphics and text are there. This happens frequently, even after restarting Proclaim and trying different backgrounds, both stock and uploaded ones. Any idea about what's going on? (Windows 7 PC)

Hello Dave,

This only happens when the 'Main Content' text field is empty and you navigate to the customize menu. You can confirm this by creating a blank content slide and going into the customize menu. When you reach the customize menu, you will see a blank checkered background. However if you go back to edit, add some text into the main content text field, and go to customize again the slide will show up normally. I have created a bug report for this and it is a known issue.

Or, if the first slide is blank, as that is the slide that the customizer uses. We use a "Verse 0" with no content to be able to insert blank slides in the verse order, and some of the people putting the songs in Proclaim will add that at the beginning instead of the end and wonder why they don't see words in the customizer.
