I hate getting automatic updates between Saturday and Sunday morning. The last thing I want to see on a Sunday morning is my software doing an automatic update. Where can I shut these off?
We try to only ship updates on Mondays and Tuesdays to give users plenty of time prior to Sunday. If you haven't run Proclaim all week and start it up on Sunday morning you will see the update from Monday. All non critical updates are optional so you should see the option of skipping, feel free to skip it and update when you have more time available.
Scott,
That was not the case this weekend. I was working with the software throughout the day on Saturday with no option to delay the update.
Thanks,
Jim
Let me clarify...I worked with it on Saturday...Update happened on Sunday morning.
There was a required update shipped on Tuesday, nothing after that. One thing I forgot to mention is the update check is performed at startup time. If you don't have network connectivity at this time it will behave as if no update is available. You can use Help > About to check to see if there is an update once network connectivity has been restored.
