Logos why can't these Vyrso books be downloaded

Hello Logos

I have two Vyrso books that do not download to a mobile device.

Who Made God? And Answers to Over 100 Other Tough Questions of Faith

Is Your Church Ready? Motivating Leaders to Live an Apologetic Life

Both of the books are by Ravi Zacharias & Norman L. Geisler

I have other Vyrso books that I can download, But these don't have the option of download to any mobile device?

Not every book can be downloaded to a mobile device, if you check the product page there will generally be an indicator of what devices their contract allows them to put the title on.

although to be fair, I don't see an indicator one way or the other.

You see the mobile indicator on the Logos.com site not the Vyrso one - as all Vyrso resources are intended to be used on mobile devices.

Can I clarify the issue here?

Do you mean that they don't appear in the library on the mobile device or that they appear in the library but you can't download them?

they are in my library and on my PC but I can't download to the Mobile.

Also the following Logos editions can’t be downloaded.

Ok I just sent an e-mail also about this to customer support.

I think that any book we are buying for bible study from Vyrso or Logos should be able to download to our Mobile devices.

On the product pages for these two resources, it clearly says it is available only under Windows and Mac. If the product page included "Mobile" it would be downloadable to your device. Evidently, there are licensing issues preventing this.

That's what we all think. Some publishers in some cases seem to think different (maybe only because they couldn't acquire all the different rights they wanted from an earlier stage in the licencing process), and then they may get their own rules, since Logos either has to subscribe to their ideas or not offer the products at all, which we don't want either, but may be the cause for some things we miss.

ALL Vyrso books are mobile enabled, however, not all books can be MANAGED via L5. I discovered this recently and confirmed that I could view and download the book, but I could not manage the download status to my mobile devices for that resource in L5. I'm not sure if this is a special permissions issue or not.

that is the problem I wanted to manage all the books from L5 because I was adding resources to a new tablet I was given.

I don't remember this problem being addressed before... But then again, I could have given the same answer four months ago. [:s]

In any case, I was surprised earlier this week when I (re?)discovered the issue. Perhaps Logos will chime in... [;)]

Thanks for that. It was almost a year ago, and vaguely familiar. Logos never did get back with us. [:s]
