Issues with blank slide import of Powerpoint
Hello,
I saw the previous posts on the powerpoint blank slide on import issue but the last posting was from Dec 2013. We are new Proclaim users and our powerpoints from Office for Mac 2007 are coming in blank. The background will show up roughly in the same shape and look, however, no text in any of the slides shows up. Are there compatibility issues with the Office for Mac Powerpoint files of any or all years? Thank you.

The compatibility issues are with a third party library we use to import powerpoints on mac and the known issues are listed in the following post.

No that looks like it. Any idea on when that 3rd party software might get their stuff working? I'd love to use Proclaim exclusively without having to rely on Keynote.

Unfortunately I cannot give you an ETA on that. The best workaround right now is to export your powerpoint slides as jpgs and then import them into Proclaim to use in an image slideshow.
