Ok - How did this happen?
If I remember correctly you're on a Mac?
When you entered the text initially were the paragraphs "The idea is that..." and "There, a smudge..." ever combined? or were they always separate?
Does the issue go away if you edit the text again?
We'll be looking into this further but any additional information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.
You do remember correctly.
Yes - when I entered it the text was one long paragraph.
It didn't before dinner while I was playing around with it.... but now after dinner and a couple of rejoins and re-paragraphing it has jumped into place.
I wonder if the glitch had something to do with the signal that gets sent on the text reference to '(1Corinthians 13:1)?
Hello Mike,
Just wanted to let you know we were able to reproduce your issue and are now working towards a solution.
It looks like this is a long standing bug that may have been made a bit easier to reproduce with the new text rendering code.
In short, when you edit the content we try to regenerate and replace as few slides as possible. There is a timing issue in the calculation of which slides need replacement. This results in the caching of incorrect slides. Edits which cause all slides to be re-rendered (e.g. increase font size, switch aspect ratio) will fix the issue.
We'll get a proper fix for this out shortly. Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the prompt attention to the matter and for getting back to me. It really does make all the difference to the customer experience.
Every blessing
