March Madness: Who are these guys?

As I went through the voting process, many of the names I recognized, others I did not and a few I was uncertain about.
Would it be difficult to implement a hyperlink on the name of the author to take us to a list of his books? I'd find it helpful, not only in voting, but also in learning about some [allegedly important] authors I know little or nothing about.
Thanks.

I thought of that, too. Good idea. Just a couple I wasn't too familiar with and went and looked them up separately. For many people, the list would be a big puzzle.
(Even a bit of biography might help.)

For a number of authors I opened another tab in my browser and did a search of Logos products for "author:______" to get an idea of what might be offered (even for authors I know). There were some authors I felt like I like better, but I didn't vote for them because I felt like I already have the books I want for that author.

I wouldn't mind a "No thanks ... can't vote for either of these two" button.

"Confess your faults one to another."
I wasn't going to vote on a a few of those, because I didn't know enough to do so meaningfully. But, no one was looking, so I guessed, and pushed the button.
I felt well rewarded when I was on the broad road with the majority, and a little wounded when I was on the narrow road in the minority--even if I had no idea who they were.
Ahhh. Sweet Catharsis!

Great humor, Gao. We're looking for many more threads from you!

I thought Logos ought to capture the reason for the votes:
- don't know who he is but can't stand the other guy
- more Germanic of the last names --> Germans make pretty good scholars
- hair style is the older --> well, at least he can't be contemporary drivel; he'll be aged drivel at worst
- there's been a string of right hand side votes --> time for a left side liberal
Yes I did use 3 of the 4 reasons [:$]

Just me personally I voted based occasionally on which person i had fewer works by, especially when there was a really big name paired up with an author I was unfamiliar with.

That describes my situation fairly well.

I found a lot of people I didn't care about up against each other, and a lot of people I did care about up against each other. Seriously, did they HAVE to put N.T. Wright up against James Dunn!? I'm pretty sure anyone interested in the one of those is also interested in the other.

Not only am I disturbed by the match up of these two, I'm even more disturbed that Wright is winning. Not surprised, though.Mitchell said:I found a lot of people I didn't care about up against each other, and a lot of people I did care about up against each other. Seriously, did they HAVE to put N.T. Thanks for the feedback! In the get deals section we have added a post that links you to the author bio pages, if they have one, and shows their books that are available in our format. Check out the post here: http://www.logosmarchmadness.com/2014/get-to-know-the-logos-march-madness-authors/

Very nice. There now needs to be a link to that list from the March madness home page. It could be placed in the section that looks like a ticket. It shouldn't be buried under the get deals section which I didn't think would have any interesting content until after the first round was over.
EDIT: I think this link from the Home Page should by default open in a new tab if that is possible. You'd want to see both pages at the same time. (I know I can do that using right click but maybe not everyone does???)

I have been voting that way the past couple of years.
