Content slides with outer stroke

Is there any way there could be outer stroke and all those other effects on the words for normal content slides. A lot of backgrounds use fade into the background because the only function on the slides is to have a drop shadow. Unfortunately, a drop shadow will not make letters stand out with grass in the background. If at least the outer stroke is there, then the letters definitely stand out against the background. Thank you!

You could try changing the color of the drop shadow by enabling it and then clicking 'EDIT'. In this menu, you can change many aspects of the drop shadow to make the text stand out more; With enough tweaking, you should be able to make something that resembles an outer glow.

Spencer, with all due respect, the problem lies with the fact that we've been waiting over a year for better text rendering that has been possible with other presentation programs for years.  I'm with James on this one... better text formatting (the same used for custom "lines" on slides) should be able to be used.  It's available for lyrics, so why not for other text?  I can work around it (though I really shouldn't have to because the technology is there) but it's a pain to add 4-5 "custom captions" to get something that I should be able to do with one text box.

I understand where your frustrations are coming from and sorry for any inconvenience. I was offering a workaround in the mean time while changes are being made.

Just to clear the air, just because I vented my frustration doesn't mean I like Proclaim any less. [:)] I for one know that you all are working very hard to make a great product.  Granted things don't always happen when we want them to, but eventually they get there.  I'm glad to know you all are working on changing this.  Thanks for your hard work.
