Proclaim Remote App Problems

Good morning!
We have had some trouble with the Proclaim remote recently. Here are the details:
The remote (being used on an Android Galaxy S3 by our pastor) has worked great for the first service. Then, when the time comes for him to control his sermon slides for the second service, everything locks up.
He has gotten out of the remote between services as we thought a sort of "refresh" might help, but no good.
One thing I realize is that we are currently running the "old version" on our XP machine. We are working to get our projection computer updated to Windows 7 but haven't been able to get to that yet.
It also seems like the iOS app (on iPhone, particularly) is a bit unreliable for us as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

Every time I have used the control mode of the Remote App it has failed. I gave up trying to use it to advance my sermon slides. It would freeze, then I would have to reload, and even then it took three or four times before it would restart. That is not something I need to deal with while I am trying to preach. So, I just settled on letting my sound guys advance my slides, while I use the view mode in the Remote App.

Ryan, if it makes you feel any better I am running the new version Proclaim on a Windows 8 machine and remote by iOS (iPad 3) with the same problems. It is getting a bit wearisome for me as I have no help during the service and have to restart during the sermon is distracting!

I am running Windows 7 and I am experiencing the "freeze." When it happens I cannot move through the slides on the tablet. I am able to open the contents drop down and go to a slide but I cannot scroll through slides. There are times when I cannot advance the slide through an android tablet but when the slide is advanced through the projection computer the tablet adjusts.

Yep same kind of issues here trying to use an Ipad air. Love the thought of control from Ipad but the problems are too distracting.. I have even set aside locked bandwidth thinking it might be a wireless issue.

Yesterday was better but still buggy. 8:30 service went fine. No problems at all. 11am service, exact same conditions, equipment, etc, just different time, and it took me 3 tries on my iPad mini retina to force quit, reopen the remote app, log in, and finally the slides came up on my iPad. I got one "unable to advance slide" error in the presentation itself. This is at least the 6th Sunday in a row that issues have happened in using the remote app. I'm tired of this. It's embarrassing in the middle of worship. I and others have been posting about this issue for several weeks now. What's going to make this coming Sunday different?

Dan, your not alone...there are other posts out there - see the one called "Proclaim Not Loading To iPad" - they had supposedly fixed this for this past weekend, but it got even buggier on us...see my latest post above...
