Why isn't Frame's Doctrine of the Knowledge of God in Logos as well?

I thought I saw a post from Logos in the last few months indicating they had changed Vyrso books so that they were now in Logos as well.  I just noticed that I still have to read John Frame's Doctrine of the Knowledge of God in Vyrso as it is not available within the Logos app.

    Hi David

I thought I saw a post from Logos in the last few months indicating they had changed Vyrso books so that they were now in Logos as well.

Vyrso books (books bought through the Vyrso store) have always been available to read in the Logos app as well.

Some books you get for free with the Vyrso app aren't available in the Logos app unless you purchase them but I don't think that's the issue here.

I just noticed that I still have to read John Frame's Doctrine of the Knowledge of God in Vyrso

As far as I can see this book isn't purchasable through the Vyrso store - it is only available at https://www.logos.com/product/20867/the-collected-works-of-john-m-frame-vol-1-theology. Is this the resource you have purchased?

If so it should be visible in both apps and - if it isn't - there is some sort of problem.

Can you provide any more context?

    Graham,

I think it may be possible that the book used to be in Vyrso some time back and was taken out when Logos compiled the "JF collected works" bundle. At least that's what I interpreted as background into David's question, which I understood as asking about getting the "upgraded" version in Logos - in other such cases, we now have two different resources in Logos (or in Vyrso, for that matter, since of course you're correct that we can read all of our library in Logos and the same books - nearly all of the library - in both mobile apps.)

    Thanks Mick

Fair point - that may well be what David was asking about.

I read it a slightly different way - hopefully David can clarify

I am not saying it is impossible but I have never had a book purchased in Vyrso that has not downloaded into Logos. I wonder if Moody books purchased in Vyrso are appearing in Logos? I know an ebook version of their atlas and new commentary are in Vyrso, but not sure if they are appearing in the Logos program (I own neither).

Sure they do - I can read the new Moody Bible Commentary in Logos.

The Frame Collected Works volume 1 was released in 2008, which predates Vyrso.

I'm not sure why it would appear in one app but not the other, unless maybe one app isn't logged in to the proper account.

He'll have to elaborate.  Screen shots would be good.
