ipad mini vs Kindle Fire HDX for Proclaim remote

Can anyone give me some advice on choosing a new tablet to control my proclaim presentations?  I am deciding between the ipad mini or the Kindle Fire HDX.  I like the Fire better as an all around tablet, but I have to get the one that works best with Proclaim.  Has anyone used the Kindle for a remote?  What about the ipad mini, has anyone use it as a remote?  What conclusions have you come to regarding either for a remote to control proclaim?   Thanks.

    Hello Jesse,

    Either tablet will work fine with the remote. The Proclaim remote app is identical on all tablets that support it (iOS and Android); I have used the Kindle fire and iPad and my testing as well as a few other devices and it works well on all of the ones I have tried.
