Doing some reading and would love to have this in Logos with its extensive tagging and linking.

When the rest of the material is released next year, hope that Logos can compile the entire thing.

Thanks Lynden. Not a user friendly checkout though. Autofill disabled, it sent wrong info to paypal, discarded everything i typed in. Finally placed an order, but . . .

At perhaps 180,000 pages I don't think many could afford to pay for this if it was in Logos  [:(]

for those who have it already, will we have to pay again as if it is a new product? or with some discount? or free (even if I doubt)?

Whatever is already owned would be updated free; if the EGW library includes additional resources (yet to be determined), there may be some cost in that part. But what you already own would be updated without cost.

It has been years since I contacted the Estate but at that time they said that the files that were used from R&H were from before 2002 and R&H refused to redo the 'job' to correct typos that the Estate had corrected.  So all copulation released after then are not in our current resources.

Daughters of God. 1998. Hagerstown, MD: Review and Herald Publishing Association, 1998. 275 pp. [DG]    - Last one currently included

Darkness Before Dawn. 1997. Nampa, ID: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1997. 64 pp. [DD]     is NOT currently included

Also not currently included  [I may have missed some]

Christ Triumphant. 1999. Hagerstown, MD: Review and Herald Publishing Association, 1999. 384 pp. [CTr]

A Call to Stand Apart. 2002. Hagerstown, MD: Review and Herald Publishing Association, 2002. 120 pp. [CSA]

Prayer. 2002. Nampa, ID: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 2002. 320 pp. [Pr]

Heaven. 2003. Nampa, ID: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 2003. 192 pp. [Hvn]

To Be Like Jesus. 2004. Hagerstown, MD: Review and Herald Publishing Association, 2004. 383 pp. [BLJ]

Then there are the other files like the works of other pioneers that would be nice to have in Logos.

I am glad to hear that.

this means that we might need to be more patient again.

But the final product will certainly be more useful than what we already have. I guess that will help to wait ...

We are working to get a fresh and updated version of EGW writings, which the Estate has worked hard and successfully to facilitate.

When someone pans something and it turns out to be the someone's fault a correction should be made. I do a lot of shopping cart testing, actually testing the payment modules that send CC info to the card processors and report back to the cart. So, for some reason I typed in the fake info used when testing. No wonder Paypal did not like it. And why did my CC issuer accept it (although the CVV would have been correct - the address incorrect). Anyway it was my fault. I called up the Denver office Monday morning and spoke with the nice lady who was filling the order as I called. It arrived today. Good service!

Glad to hear Martin. When the release the rest of her writings, make sure that Logos gets the files right away. Should go well for EGW Encyclopaedia.

Robert, it is good to see your latest post regarding your Adventist Book Center order and that your experience ended positively.  I am sure you will enjoy the CD, it is a great resource, far more valuable than the $20 price.

    Hi, Martin --

I have the CD-ROM EGW CRE cd.  It was working fine until I upgraded to MAC El Capitan.  Now it doesn't work.  Nor does the workaround suggested by the White Estate assist.  Is the Logos version available yet?

The EGW Lifeworks are now updated into the latest version of Logos. If you call Logos customer support with the serial number on your CD, they should be able to unlock that to your account. Their number is 1-800-875-6467

Hi Martin, I just called and gave my serial number which they said couldn't be used. Any other suggestions?

Such a mystery to me that the CD-ROM Ellen G. White Writings Comprehensive Research Edition (PC) 2010 is no longer available.  Tried downloading the writings at the Ellen White Estate, honesty don't like that setup at all -- it puts several folders on my desktop, instead of installing software like the Ellen White CD-ROM did.  Why, why, why is the CD-ROM no longer available?  Actually wondered if Jesuits had taken over the EGW Estate, lol.  Wrote to the EGW Estate twice, they won't reply.  Have never encountered anything like this.  Why would that great CD-ROM that works like a charm no longer be available?

Was this a Logos product? If not, in 14 years there have been changes to the operating system which may have rendered the cd unusable.
