Proclaim update not allowing me to view slides w/o controlling them...

I know the name of the app is "Proclaim Remote."  But up till now, I had been using it to view slides while the service was live.  The new update seems to have taken that feature away forcing me to control while the service is On Air.  Is this permanent?  Or am I missing something?

    That should have always been the case. You can use the remote to "control" a presentation and as long as you don't tap any slides it will just follow along.
