Still can't delete personal books from main library list

I'm able to delete book files from my personal book list but find that some are still listed in my library.

I've re-indexed my personal books – even re-indexed my whole library (uggh).

They are still there!

How do I get rid them?

I'm no genius at computer file management so if you have a solution please provide very basic instructions.

The quickest way is to hide them as per http://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books. Restart Logos and they will be removed. Some time later you may unhide them, and they should not appear in Library.

Dave Gave you the answer I think you are looking for... but for a little clarification:

The "personal book list" that I think you are talking about is the personal book builder TOOL. The "personal books" listed there aren't the actual books, just the project files (as it were) with a link to the book. Once the book is compiled, you will have to do what Dave suggested to delete the book... namely hide and unhide the book.
