For yesterdays service we had a guest speaker who brought their own presentation on a thumb drive.This presented a couple of problems.
Usually the process is to import and convert to images. I couldn't do that yesterday because the slides were cut off at the bottoms cutting off scripture and references when converted to images.Today I went back and reloaded the proclaim presentation then deleted and re-entered the power point presentation as images. There was no issue withe slides after doing this which was no good to me being a day after services.
Since we had the issue with the slides not converting to images properly we went ahead and tried to run powerpoint through proclaim. This was a bigger headache since what resulted was a quick flash of the first slide and then a black screen for each slide afterwards. The presentation was advancing according to the timeline at the bottom of the screen but no image. So what we ended up doing was running powerpoint separately. Again I tried to go back and reload the element in to the service with what happened on Sunday continue today. To me this is frustrating because it takes away any ease of use this program offers and really sticks it to our volunteers.
