How to set up Proclaim software with Apple TV?

Hello, I am interested in helping my church. In the past we use a projection system, screen, PC and PowerPoint. Now we are in a building that uses Apple TV. We have gotten permission to use the Apple TV system which has two TV's in the system. There is also WiFi in the building (which is already in use with the Apple TV system).

I have discovered Proclaim and love what the software has to offer. My question is how do you run Proclaim through to the TV's? We have a laptop PC for the church, can we use that to run Proclaim through to the TV's? Or do we need a macbook? We also have a church iPad and I have read a little about Proclaim's remote app. I just dont understand enough about the Apple TV thing to make a connection on how to put this all together.
What is the easiest way to run Proclaim to the TV's?
What is the best way to run Proclaim to the TV's?
Please include practical steps because this is a whole new set up to me.

Thank you!

Heather

First, I must say I have not tested this.

It seems as though, you can send anything on your Mac to AppleTV and then to the TVs. Proclaim is made to run on a Mac or PC, but in this situation it must be on a Mac.

Proclaim's remote is an app that can control the presentation, which is being run on a Mac or PC. Proclaim's app is not stand-alone; it needs the software on a Mac/PC.

I believe it will work, but I'm not sure about the quality.

    Rundown:
    1) Proclaim on computer sends presentation to the AppleTV using WiFi.
    2) AppleTV is connected to the TVs via HDMI
    3) Use the iPad, using Proclaim's Remote app, to control the presentation which is being run on the Mac.

Is this the best way? Probably not. As cumbersome as it might be, using cables straight from the computer to TV/Projector is always better. Relying on WiFi or any wireless technology isn't always the best move.

Is it easy? Yup! Not having to run cable is always a plus. Just keep in mind that there is more of a risk of technical problems.

Putting Proclaim on an AppleTV is no different to putting any other Windows application on an AppleTV. You'll need software to accomplish it: http://www.airsquirrels.com/airparrot/

If you have a modern Mac laptop, you shouldn't need the software - follow these instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5404
