Change Transition Speed on Songs?

The fade transition is soooo slow. We would already start singing before it was on screen during some songs. Am I missing something or can I not change how fast the transition is? That is a huge negative. It may even be enough to not use the program, enough of us struggle to get our volunteers to put the words on the screen fast enough. Let alone with a long fade time.

You are correct in that the lag with Proclaim fade is a bit lethargic.

When giving our volunteers instructions on changing the slides I always remind them that they will have read the words to the end of the verse long before they get that far with their voices. We don't read each word and then sing it.

We use the change three words from the end of the last line as a rule of thumb. More if I am using a remote myself. Less if I know there is an interlude between verses. Folk need to be ready and prepared with the first line in their heads at the start of the following verse.

It is frustrating when operators leave the change of verse too late so that you are mentally struggling to catch up.
