So now perhaps it's easier to understand why occasionally Logos has hiccups in its relationships with publishers (like Moody).
Western civilization as we know it, is at the brink (at least judging from the NYTimes).
I never thought I'd see the day when I carefully evaluated whether to buy the $4.69 book vs the $5.99 book. The difference won't even get me some french fries at McD's. But it's a most important difference.
The publishing landscape is changing quickly, sites like Amazon (and Logos) add a lot of value in creating environments for review and discussion which ends up being free marketing for the publishers. The publishers don't seem to want to place any value on those additions. About the only constant in publishing today is the need for good editors. I'm amazed at the amount of mistakes in books from the larger publishing houses who used to pride themselves in the quality of their editors.

Why would they need quality editors when they have auto-correct?
