Because this book is available from Vyrso, I will not post a link.  However, I will note that this new book is available free with a little searching.

One Way Love: Inexhaustible Grace for an Exhausted World

Blessings,
Floyd

Check your left hip pocket--if it's not there, try behind the cookie jar.

If neither of those work, I suppose you could use Google or look where books may be found.

    Where?

    I have two suggestions:

    1. Do a Google search - I verified that the link is available via Google
    2. Take a look at David C Cook's Facebook page - it was their post that initially alerted me to its availability.

I will not post a link, since that would be in direct competition with LOGOS.  Even providing this much information may offend some - but LOGOS could check with David C Cook to see if the price can be matched.

    Blessings,
    Floyd

I think I'm going to pass on this...but could someone explain what the title means? I'm baffled by it. I keep trying to process it through my Bible Says processor and keep ending up getting "blue screen".

Just a guess... God's love is great for a world which doesn't love him back.

I have not read the book, so this is a guess. But it is a guess based upon (1) just hearing Pastor Tchividjian speak at a conference, and (2) a bevy of follow up reading at random points on the web.

That said, I believe it is a reference to God's love towards us - when we did not love him. Romans 5:8 being a good starting point.

Tullian Tchividjian is entirely enamored with Grace, is (AFAIK) quite Reformed in his theology, and if hearing one sermon can really indicate anything, a gifted speaker.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

This still doesn't compute for me.

Paul...whatcha gonna do with him? Actually, of course, Yeishuu`a died for us before we were sinners, not while we were sinners. He was "slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:8--which the KJV & NKJV have right. seeing as they agree with the Greek and 1 Pet. 1:18, 19, 20, Acts 2:23 & Heb. 4:3, and aren't forced to engage in a syntactical shell game).

Anyway, this conceptualization suffers from a seriously bad case of "doesn't make sense". Why is YHWH glorified by failure? Who's in control here?
