There are definitely elements of his theology that have a Catholic influence especially in relation to the sacramental. Some of this has found its way into the Pentecostal Denominations that have their roots in Wesleyan Holiness.
I was going to comment on similar soteriology, but I won't. Oops, looks like I already did.
