Yep, the metadata are wrong:
Maybe something known as "hallway testing" would help in metadata QA: just giving the metadata and the title page to someone unrelated to the process and telling this person he/she gets x$ Logos Credit if they detect something unusual - why would a resource be tagged as subject:"catholic church--catechisms--latin" but language:English? Answer: the subject is wrong.
This mythical hallway-tester for metadata might also question whether apostolic exhortation "A new hope for Lebanon" is rightly flagged as subject:"Catholic Church--Catechisms" (I don't think so) and whether its language:French flag is correct (unfortunately: yes, but then the title should better be "Une Espérance Nouvelle Pour Le Liban" as given on the title page)
I think there needs to be more "hallway testing" of metadata in general within the halls of Logos, before releasing new resources. But if it's cheaper/quicker/easier for them to give Logos Credit to users for finding metadata problems, then maybe that would be an acceptable solution.
However, if they're going to do that, they need to start paying attention again to the metadata bugs we are already reporting. Absolutely no interaction from Logos on http://wiki.logos.com/Metadata_correction_proposals in the past 7 months. Discouraging. I can see why some people have started reporting metadata bugs on the forums instead. At least they seem to get a bit more attention here.

• You changed the type for Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. Did you also change the title? Surely it should be called Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. The New Testament, and not just The New Testament?

I hope not. The Library of Congress is terrible at using its own classification system to classify almost anything theological.

They used to, I believe, and that's probably where most of the errors come from, but as I understand it, they've moved away from that, so at least newly shipped books should be correct.
