Thanks for highlighting this, Joan. I would have missed it otherwise. I am really pleased to have picked up this and the earlier offering from this set at a significant discount.

Getting these individual items from AYB at 50% off puts you in spitting distance of the normal asking price of the set. In other words, the normal set price is 50% of the price of the individual volumes. In light of this, some considerations...
If you aren't financing anything at all with Logos, then it will cost approximately $100 more for the set to finance it for 24 months than if you pick it up piece by piece through daily deals. The question is, will Logos offer the whole set through Daily Deals? And on what schedule? If they offer one per week (will they?), you will pay quite a bit more each month then you would if the set were financed, but you would get the set in approximatley 15 months...if you don't miss anything.
However, if you are currently financing Logos purchases, then it may just make more sense to finance the set and get the use of it now, knowing that your set is complete and you aren't paying much more to get it right now--probably less than $50 (or even $0) if you have a payment plan already.
Of course, financing it when it is on sale (like it was last month) is the cheapest option.

I like what they are doing here. This is giving me a chance to get some idea if I would like the set and if I decide to order it, there is dynamic pricing.
Good marketing strategy in my humble opinion.

For those who want to take this approach..great. But if they drop 2-3 or more of these a week, you're talking a big hunk of change over a month's time. Financing the whole thing will be less taxing.

[Y] Yep! Even during March Madness I started doing the math with some volumes I wanted, and it was cheaper to buy the whole set, even those that were at 50% off and 60% off. The only ones worth getting were Carson's volumes which of course were at 75% off. Twitter DD are only great on certain titles.

If someone is just intending to cherry pick certain volumes, DD is a great way to save...but if you want the whole enchilada, buy the enchilada whole.
