I like this idea. I wonder why Logos has not done this already.

I think you're misunderstanding what "base package" is for. A "base package" is the foundation for having all the Logos features work, so it includes unlocking of the core databases. Vyrso books are just ebooks that have no other features in them, so they don't need any "base package" functionality. These that you're proposing would be bundles or collections or "library builders" (those terms are used virtually interchangeably; not to be confused with the Collections feature). You could add them on to an existing base package, or buy them on their own without owning a base package if all you use Logos/Vyrso for is to read ebooks. But please don't call them base packages.

Please!
But Vyrso bundles make sense from a marketing perspective.

A good idea. You could call it "collections" if "base packages" is not suitable,

Vyrso does offer "collections" from time to time, limited time only.
Author collections. Nelson used to do several of these in the old Libronix days. I get a lot of nice illustrations, etc. from the Lucado Lifeworks. They could do the same with other popular authors.

You can find some current Vyrso "collections" or "bundles" by sorting all products in order of Price (highest first):
https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=&start=&sort=pricehi&pageSize=15
Most notable one listed there (IMHO) is the Moody Classics Complete Set.
Here's an example where a collection would be most welcome!
https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=abingdon+commentary
Here's another:
https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=%22NEW+AMERICAN+COMMENTARY+%22
Anything like that, where all the books involved are part of a series, it should be possible to buy them all at once (ideally with some kind of a discount) rather than each volume separately.

Monday bump
What I meant by Base Package was of course the size of collection and the price.
yes, Vyrso have collections but they're small.
I'll guarantee $1k if Vyrso come out with those packages.

What subject or theme do you have in mind for that 1K?
Counselling? Biographies? Missions? Novels? Family life? Denominational writings?

This is obviously not an "official" answer, but here is my best guess as to why this won't likely happen.
- The margins on these books is much slimmer, and there isn't much wiggle room.
- The licensing agreements are different than in Logos, and I think it would be unlikely to see a massive "base package"
- The work that goes into getting a deal done with publishers is quite a bit and there would be less of a demand for a "base package" of Vyrso resources.
- Bundles are a different story. It is more likely that you would see a bundle of books by the same publisher on the same topic.

C'mon, I believe Logos can move mountains and do miracles.

I'm waiting for their QA to move a molehill correctly the first time. (Sorry QA staff -I know that you are working hard and successfully on your assigned tasks ... its the unassigned ones that create the errors).

did I hear a fallacy hound growl about over-generalization or something like that in your first sentence? Must be my ears, after all he's surely busy with a big bone or other food to celebrate your thirteenthousandth post: [pi][&][^]
congratulations and many thanks!
