I'm asking a few questions in: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/85621.aspx in the Logos 5 forum and finding it difficult to get anyone realize that I need answers on the quad core CPU and laptop brand battery questions. How much am I supposed to know about modern CPU's before having tried them? Perhaps a little better CPU will make a huge difference to the low budget dual cores I'm currently using? Or is there any CPU good for the kind of multitasking I do: I use one window at a time but have all this stuff open.
finding it difficult to get anyone realize that I need answers
People who have read that thread realize you need answers, but perhaps they do not feel qualified to give you the answers, or perhaps they don't have time. I personally tend to ignore all threads with numbers and/or hardware spec words in their subject line. Too boring.
TLDR means "too long, didn't read"; which means your initial post was very lengthy and turned people off.
Better to ask a short, direct question, such as:
What laptop are you using to run Logos 5, and is it fast enough for you? My budget is $XXX (USD). Any suggestions?
From time to time people do ask hardware questions on the Logos forums, but rarely do they get satisfying answers. There are dozens of machines out there to choose from, and nobody can give you precisely the information you need. You should look at Logos's minimum hardware recommendations and ask a local dealer who is very knowledgeable about hardware to help you find something that will meet those needs and is within your budget. People on these forums are not generally hardware experts. Theology experts, and Bible software experts, yes. But not many hardware experts.
Dude !
You are a Nagger ! You got several answers on the other thread. ... Obviously not the answer you wanted. You have a history of asking very complex questions. Ones that require much time and effort to answer. Then inevitably, you argue with the respondents And/Or ignore all advice and do what you wanted to do all along. Why don't you cut out the middle man and "Just Do It."
You have acquired quite a stable of antique machines. That seems to be what you are attracted to. You have stated that the one you are interested in now would be purchased for your girlfriend. If you wish to start her on the same road of antiquated, overheating equipment, Go for it. Nothing we can say will get in your way. Your father can't get through to you. How are we supposed to?
If I would be rich I would not need to ask. The VAT is so high over here, it affects all prices both used and new, besides the shipping all around the globe. I pay extremely high taxes and also benefit some. I could just give up thinking I can't afford using Logos and Accordance and become gradually less and less serious. However, I can imagine there are many in the same situation as me, I find my situation quite typical, and many would benefit if someone has the kind of CPU and battery answers. And she is not a girlfriend, particularly because she probably doesn't want to be - why I don't know since we share interests.
I do listen to advice but I sometimes know more than those who reply realize so I get answers I already knew. Yes, I should have written a shorter OP - but that's exactly why I put my main questions in bold font in the first place and the topic in the subject line. Those who are not interested in CPU and battery questions should not read the thread in the first place.
I rarely buy new computers. Once I've got some kind of answers I won't be asking more hardware questions for many many years and focus on contributing where I can if I'm knowledgeable enough to post answers to other people's questions.

Too much detail of your own history makes for a difficult read. Mention what really matters to you (price, performance, SSD/HDD) without getting into technical details like "Does a quad core consume less electricity than dual core" or "how much L2 and L3 cache should it have" or have "adequate cooling" because these are less critical with recent improvements in CPU efficiency & power and laptop build/cooling. You can assume that a quad core will consume more electricity than a dual core, and its battery life will be shorter BUT it will run Logos 5 far better! What is you real concern/need? L2/L3 cache impacts price and performance, but not significantly enough for average users i.e. go for price.
Questions like "...that has a setting that You charge the battery only 80% of its capacity" should be put to a more computer oriented forum.
It's about how long I will be able to use the laptop. Things that can't be replaced afterwards are what matter the most. Can't replace CPU or battery interface. If there are not batteries made in the future then have to throw away the laptop or sell it dirt cheap.
If I openly tell in the first lines of the OP my budget and how high the VAT is, people will think it's impossible to get that kind of computer, and it may be, in that case the older computers I have were the right choice because they were all I was able to afford and remain so.
Thanks for the advice how to put it, would need to rephrase myself but it's too late to edit the OP:
Drive can be changed at any time before it gets errors:
Mention what really matters to you (price, performance, SSD/HDD) without getting into technical details like ...
Thanks Dave for the information about CPU L2-/L3-cache! It's amusing how a few MB of really fast memory can be too expensive to be something to recommend to look for!
To make it simple I should start to look for examples that are withing reach and just look up how new the CPU is? Dave, how recent were these improvements?:

If used computer hardware prices would be the same around the globe I could have expressed myself briefly in the Logos 5 forum. But they are definitely not.
First of all, my father doesn't know what computers and when I buy to others, or how many. So whatever he has said is irrelevant, today I asked him to borrow me money for the HDD fan I had just found but he refused to borrow and he thinks it's almost never worthwhile to buy accessories or drives for used computers and he doesn't realize I will never afford a new computer.
Second of all, You are referring to a completely other thread which was caused by that I didn't know which Intel CPU:s are completely out of the questions, the model names of the CPU were not quite intuitive. The reason why I wanted to compare was that the seller of the "Celeron D desktop" lowered the price from 1,800 SEK to 1,000 SEK.What I bought her was the Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz desktop and it has great cooling for the purpose - I think I said that in the "Celeron D" -thread. It's fairly easy to find adequately cooled desktop computers over here, all that is needed is a drive fan to be added:

Are you still arguing with yourself?

The thread I link to in the OP is NOT about some computer I'm buying for someone else. And the computer I did buy for someone else is a desktop with good cooling other than that I'm adding a HDD fan to it which I found by searching amazon myself:

Brother Mark, and I laugh at people who only think about software and pay for the best hardware.
I rarely snort coffee, but when I do.... it's because Lee made me laugh between swallows.
The short answer (without going into too much detail and promoting many headaches): Set your mind on (at a minimum) an i5 (or compatible) with 4GB RAM (6 or 8 is better), 1TB HDD (500GB or more will most likely work), and whatever video is on the MB. A machine with these specs will be much better than the Core 2 Duo's.
BTW: I am running an Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz with 8GB RAM, a couple of large capacity HDD's, and integrated Intel graphics. It works ok for Logos and anything else I do. It's not the fastest, but its not the slowest either. I would like better, but content with what it is until I can get much better. I can't put any money into upgrading the current machine, and if I could, I wouldn't. I will wait until I can acquire a much better machine.

I found a thread from 2012 where Dr. Clint Cozier and 5 Solas are complaining about their quad-core Macs, perhaps Logos just isn't fast on a quad core Mac but there's a difference in Windows 8.1 Update 1 compared to dual core, what do You think?: the post by Dr. Clint Cozier is from Dec 10. and the post by 5 Solas from Dec. 23. The concensus seems to be that SSD makes the greatest impact on performance in Mac. Both have 7,200 rpm HDD: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/61882/439531.aspx#439531 Anyway, those two users probably have higher speed requirements than I do.
Hilarious? Should I downsize Logos and swap some resources for Accordance resources which is cheaper and runs faster on cheap laptops as it doesn't require good graphics (there's not good graphics on all laptops)? The number of resources doesn't make Logos slower, but has taxed my finances to the degree that I can't currently afford a good computer. I'm very lucky if I can afford quad-core and just wondering if any quad core that happens to be sold used eliminates Logos hanging up as I will still have many Logos resources left even after the possible swap. I will be using both softwares more and more now, so the speed problems aren't starting to heap until now.
I have been using the 2009 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo laptop with SSD and external 7,200rpm HDD connected with slow USB (as the high-speed USB port is damaged) less than my early 2012 HP 635 laptop with 1.65GHz AMD E-450 APU (dual core), 5,400rpm hybrid drive with 8GB SSD part.
The cheapest possible upgrade to a new used computer would be an internal 2.5" 7,200rpm 500GB Western Digital Black HDD. The second cheapest upgrade would be a brand new internal 2.5" 7,200rpm 1TB hybrid drive with 16GB or 32GB SSD part and 32MB disk read/write cache, as I've had good experiences in performance increase with just a 8GB SSD part on the HP 635 laptop when I upgraded from a small 5,400rpm HDD. The hybrid drive would not be cheap but I could do the upgrade when I afford to. A used 120GB or 128GB SSD would be both faster and cheaper than such hybrid drive, but would not last as long because of the lack of support (it's really difficult to get an SSD that size new or used for which the manufacturer provides a proper maintenance software which balances and shifts the circuits so that the same circuits are not accessed all-year-around), and I already have 100GB in use on my current HP 635 computer so there might come storage capacity problems, and there are no files I could remove and no softwares I could uninstall. A 256GB SSD would still be too expensive and it will take quite a while before they are cheap enough:

Why do you want to upgrade? What problems are you experiencing with your current hardware? If none, then you don't need another computer. I am afraid that you are obsessing over things that you probably don't need. Just save your money until you really need something, and then you can buy something new. Constantly buying old hardware is going to keep you in this same situation where you always want something newer.
My finances will stay the same:
Just save your money until you really need something, and then you can buy something new. Constantly buying old hardware is going to keep you in this same situation where you always want something newer.
You still didn't answer my questions. What problems are you having with your current hardware?
Also, you say finances will stay the same, but you are asking your father for money to buy a cooling fan or some other part. How can you say in the other thread that you have $400-$500 to spend on this?
Unix with trepidation I reply to your threads once again. Logos is not coded to take advantage of multiple cores at this time. I won't go into explaining why, just know that it isn't and so multiple cores means you can run more programs at the same time as you are running logos. I have 8 cores, its unnecessary. Logos never uses more than a few hundred mb of my ram (other than maybe when its indexing. The slowest link in the chain was is and will be (with your set up) the SSD. I'm not sure about your part of the world, but in ours the load balancing you speak of is handled by the built in controller & windows - so its not neccesary with a MODERN ssd. 200$ for a 480gb ssd is quite reasonable. Not sure how that compares to your money, but I'm guessing VAT won't be 300% and thus this is still in your price range.

It's $267 over here: http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/komponenter/ssd/ssd-sata-25-tum/Intel-520Series480GB/180682.7965/ - it's a sale price. Does any S-ATA III disk fit S-ATA II interface, the hybrid disk in my laptop is probably not as little as 7mm but I don't remember? A 7mm disk is $312: http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/komponenter/ssd/ssd-sata-25-tum/Crucial-M500480GB/187149.7965/ . The resale value of the laptop would be OK, provided the SSD wouldn't get a lot of wear - which I doubt. And do these specific disks have great support - proper maintenance software provided by the manufacturer, You think?:
A better, slightly cheaper option would be the Western Digital dual disk for laptop http://www.netonnet.se/art/dator/komponenter/ssd/ssd-sata-25-tum/WD-BlackDualDrive120GBSSD1TB/197936.7965/ - it has both SSD (120GB, barely enough for Microsoft Office 2007, Logos, Verbum, Libronix and Accordance, no practically no space left for the future but my interests won't change) and WD Black HDD (Black are the best HDDs) that fits as a single unit in a single bay in the laptop. It costs $252. Do You think the manufacturer has proper maintenance software for the SSD?
$252 is quite a lot of money but half of what a good extra laptop would cost. What should I choose to do?
And no I don't have a girlfriend as far as I know. The one to whom I bought a desktop with Logos 5 and Accordance 10 (the latter preferably shared) said on phone now after a long discussion that I'm not to call or see her ever again because she doesn't want to focus, despite the theology and Greek interest in common, on anyone who doesn't have a personality matching her new, higher, standards. She also just got together with her ex (which is the 99% probable real reason, he might even have told her to quit all friendship with men and he is probably either a Catholic, Jehovas Witness or Word of Life since they never go to Church together). I don't know what to do with the Logos and the desktop computer bought as a birthday gift to her. I did tell her there are likely a maximum of 1,000 Gk -interested people of opposite sex over here in this entire country, besides priests. I'm completely sure there are no more than that. She didn't seem enthusiastic about friends. I'll text her on her birthday and tell her that it's WORTHLESS to discuss or share a life in common with a man from the Word of Life (which is a big Church in her town). I live in the City.
Which means I can free some money but I'm not going to invest now in something which very quickly decreases in value.
Might I suggest the forum at Toms Hardware?

Better in performance? Nope. But hey you've already made up your mind go and do - and don't waste my time with your crazy questions.
But you can easily convert prices to your own currency.
Unix with trepidation I reply to your threads once again.
Dave, how recent were these improvements?:recent improvements in CPU efficiency & power and laptop build/cooling. You can assume that a quad core ... will run Logos 5 far better! What is you real concern/need? L2/L3 cache impacts price and performance, but not significantly enough for average users i.e. go for price.
The last 5 or 6 years e.g. just rely on i3, i5 or i7 + price. But L2/L3 cache figures were always for the power user who wants the extra 2% to 4% boost that is not discernible/useful to the average user.
I haven't decided. An extra computer would be a valuable addition but would disable me financially from swapping some of my books for used high dollar Accordance language resources:
You'r statement is awkward if You think my early 2012 low-budget "real Nigeria laptop (found on Google half a year or three quarters after the purchase of it)" HP 635 will speed up to get on par with AMD quad core if having Word 2010 and some Chrome tabs open together with Logos, Libronix and Accordance or if You meant (what You really meant specifically) that good storage space in a laptop is of no value additional-resale-value-wise:
Better in performance? Nope. I wouldn't listen to Your book-recommendations either, abondservant, as You are mostly just talking of having mainly huge base-packages and therefore saving. So You ask me a favour not to ask questions and I ask You a favor not to promote those packages to everyone if You are currently doing that. Just like I don't want Logos to hang up when clicking the library button (which is my only question after all, besides battery) I don't want to clutter my library with base-packages. I haven't said it earlier on, but I want to be able to use Defraggler in the evening when I'm tired while I use Logos, Accordance or Microsoft Word, dual core is not enough for that. Other's have said here not to upgrade the current computers with disks but to save for a better computer. Well, my finances will not be any better (nor necessarily worse) later on. What I'm worrying about will my softwares hang up when in Greek class Autumn 2014 and onwards so that I can't follow the tuition? The Logos forum is the right forum for my question.
Dual disk and fan beneath the laptop is an OK choice. A possible option is to buy the used quad core and later on put WD dual disk in it, copying everything from the old disk!! If the 120GB is not enough, uninstall Accordance and install it on the high-capacity HDD of the dual disk.
Also, when I bought BitDefender license for 3 computers for $13½ I got a video editing software too. Could possibly download tuition from the net with slow broadband or Wifi, and put together bite-size lectures. There would certainly be enough storage for that and the quad core would help, the graphics is decent for a used laptop and might be enough. Another option is to keep the desktop computer I bought for the friend who just left me today and use it for video-editing as it has good graphics but it's dual core, originally the CPU was developed 2007, at 2.66GHz so I'm not sure if that's feasible after all.
What do You think about the specific quad core laptop? Crazy question, huh? http://www.blocket.se/uppsala/Samsung_i_toppskick___AMD_Quad__8GB_RAM__1TB_53572397.htm?ca=11&w=2 $523 (down from $528 because of the fluctuation) with the currency exchange rate right at this moment, mentioned in the other thread.
Or spend $0 further money this year? Also an option, what do You think?
EDIT:, thanks Dave! People are asking all kinds of prices when they type an ad, so I would have to look up all highly relevant and bid or negotiate the price. Most of them never reply. I still have not got hold of the seller of the quad core.
Those are not as good as the equivalent [:P] AMD but I'm aware AMD may many times be in low-end computers:
just rely on i3, i5
Unix, I have OCD, and I can tell you have it severely. Mine gets worse when something stressful happens, or if I go through a big change. I am guessing all of these questions and long posts are a symptom of your OCD due to the stress of the "friend" leaving you. I am sorry that you are having a stressful time, but you need to recognize it and move on. Don't impulse buy because you are feeling anxiety.
If your computer works for what you have now, then nothing is going to change in the near future.
he might even have told her to quit all friendship with men and he is probably either a Catholic, Jehovas Witness or Word of Life since they never go to Church together).
Unix, this sort of speculation has no place on Logos forums. And also a social hint, if she told you not to call you, please don't text her - it will come across as harassment.
Those are not as good as the equivalent AMD but I'm aware AMD may many times be in low-end computers:
Observation: Geekbench has processor benchmarks => http://browser.primatelabs.com/processor-benchmarks
Fastest AMD is AMD FX-9590 with benchmark of 2467 and US sale price of $ 259.99 => http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113347
Third Generation i3-3220 with benchmark of 2482 is 0.6 % faster (negligible) and has US price of $ 124.99 => http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116775
Intel Core i7-4770K benchmark is 3735, which is 51.4 % faster than the fastest AMD. If an AMD FX-9590 takes 30 seconds to complete a task, an Intel Core i7-4770K is done in twenty seconds, which feels noticeably faster.
When upgrading a computer, personally look for benchmark numbers being over 10 % higher. Also look for graphics being over 10 % faster. For Solid State Disks (SSD), look for max write through put over 500 MB/s and over 80,000 IOPS. Also like discounted factory refurbished computers with warranty: e.g. Dell Outlet has coupon codes on twitter and Apple offers refurbished Mac models.
Laptops have limited upgrade options. Some newer thin models only have option to replace storage. Other models allow memory and storage replacement. Screen size and resolution cannot be changed so choosing a laptop includes choosing a screen that is easy to read.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Unix brother,
you need an e-hug
secondly,
spend time in prayers.. for God can reveal things you missed from those many books.
prayers can help you make right decisions.
You are wrong. And You shouldn't even try to diagnose anyone online like this. Starting a thread which gets attention about a topic that doesn't interest some doesn't in this case mean someone has OCD. Don't post things like this while I need to sleep. There are many who want attention I'm not one of them. Joseph, can't You read clear English, I told that I just talked to her, I talked long on the phone, which means no-one, myself including, posted anything that I read while or after the phone call until the post where I told that she didn't want me to call or see her again?:
and I can tell you have it severely.
MJ. this must be the first time I spot You being wrong, You should have remarked on what Joseph wrongly harassed me. And it's definitely important enough to warn her:

KS4J, looking at the fastest CPU:s is not relevant. I will have to go with an older CPU, how old and with what specs/technology? The limit Dave said sounds very old, 5-6 years, it should preferably be slightly newer than that and it should be AMD.
I don't find it strange to investigate CPU technology. I'm too familiar with some, a few, dated CPU:s.
Also those who complain this and the other thread should not have been created: these threads can't be any better, please don't read hardware threads if You are not seriously interested hardware and thereby save Your time. From my recent experience I know some people of my age and older start to prioritize their time.
MJ. this must be the first time I spot You being wrong, You should have remarked on what Joseph wrongly harassed me.
Unix, whether or not Joseph was correct, he was clearly writing in the spirit of Christian love and concern. Your speculation on denominations bordered on insulting although I remember a few months back you were either in RCIA or reading Catholic theology. But given the history of Word of Life, a non-denominational group with charismatic overtones I believe, and given the religious affiliation of its founder (Lutheran-->nondenominational-->Catholic) you were in danger of insulting a large number of forum users. And given that you then suggested that you were going to text the woman who asked you to quit calling, which in the US would be harassment for which she could take a court order out against you, I believed it was best to warn you where your behavior might lead. That kind of response is the risk you take when you post in a public forum. My apologies as I misjudged you and it was not appreciated. Things you have shared about yourself in the past led me to believe it would be.
Note: I learned that lesson re: posting in public forums in a strange way. I had asked for prayers for a family in which the husband had killed his wife in a recreational accident and have become suicidal. Some professor in Kansas was scanning the web for potential suicides and called the campus police where I worked. They, in turn, contacted me to verify that the suicidal individual was getting appropriate guidance.
Certainly, but Logos hangs up when doing new things within it. In order to follow the professor in class I would have to open all necessary books before the class starts. Those who have studied Greek, is it likely I can pull that off with the current HP 635 laptop just by using Defraggler more (while I use it the preceding day I have to use some of my other computers meanwhile), without any further upgrades before the class starts?:
I have to sit a lot in front of my computers or else I'm not going to manage reading enough books. My tablets are Nook HD 8GB and can't contain all my books and I'm tired of downloading my newest purchases to them all the time.
I would have nothing against him being from the Catholic Church. I still read a lot of Catholic books. I would not be prosecuted for such a text-message both because I'm sure polices would think the specific Word of Life congregation is a cult, and because she didn't specifically tell me not to text, I think she is even expecting me to congratulate her on her birthday, which I will do. She turns 35:
Your speculation on denominations bordered on insulting although I remember a few months back you were either in RCIA or reading Catholic theology. But given the history of Word of Life, a non-denominational group with charismatic overtones I believe, and given the religious affiliation of its founder (Lutheran-->nondenominational-->Catholic) you were in danger of insulting a large number of forum users. And given that you then suggested that you were going to text the woman who asked you to quit calling, which in the US would be harassment for which she could take a court order out against you,
What Joseph did was to insult me and spread false rumours. We actually have county financed healthcare over here, much unlike the U.S.:
Unix, whether or not Joseph was correct, he was clearly writing in the spirit of Christian love and concern
A note to Unix:You need help. I think that help has nothing to do with the brand of CPU or the battery charging strategies. However, if you continue to think computer hardware advice is what you really want and need, taking it to another forum is your most appropriate course of action.
A note to well-wishers:Let's pray for Unix, whoever he actually is. And let's not respond in such a fashion as to elicit even more unsuitable behavior. A word to the wise.
A note to Logos mod:It might be wise for you to rein in this hot action and counsel poster appropriately.
Another insult?
Lee, READ: "We actually have county financed healthcare over here, much unlike the U.S." which I just added a few minutes ago at the same time when You posted, to my previous post! Clearly You don't have patience just like every other new friend I meet. Look at the time! I just got out of the bed - why don't You give me a reasonable amount of time to react to what everyone is suggesting while I sleep? I'm going to call Logos and have Your posts moderated, Lee. It's Your posts that are wrong, noncontributing and flames:
A note to Unix: You need help.
You need help.
My actual name is Unix. I have other local language names too. One name for each language I speak since no-one is able to pronounce a name from a different language. This makes me no more strange than everyone else. At least a couple of hundred thousand people over here have changed their names to something, out of a population of 9 million:
Let's pray for Unix, whoever he actually is.
Lee, why are You not being straight with all of us, tell us what You really think: You think that all future hardware discussion should be banned from all Logos subforums!
I hope my threads on Logos forums can be searched by anyone later on to find guidance about CPU:s, batteries and HDD fans. See also this thread I started: http://www.christianforums.com/t7826681/
Unix, I have gone back and read this thread from the beginning as well as the thread you are referencing. I agree that some of the posts are inappropriate and somewhat insulting. Unfortunately, other than "will this run Logos" or "will this speed up Logos", hardware questions aren't the primary reason people are on the Logos forums. This thread has gone so far off track, that if you wish, I'll ask that it be frozen or deleted.
No thanks. Since Logos is stuck with WPF/.NET technology hardware questions are a necessary pain. I know very little programming, but the technology Logos is using might be one of the easiest to port to Mac which then is a very good reason to stick with the technology as Apple's market share is quite small. Those who want to respond to hardware questions can go to the Logos 5 subforum to the post I linked to in the OP of this thread:

Joseph, You are so wrong that I've decided to stop posting altogether. I've met a psychiatrist and the doctor has stated that I DO NOT have OCD. And no the government is not paying any friend. The municipality used to, but that "friend" didn't even show up two times, one of which he didn't even contact me at all and the other occasion I had to contact him, and another time he was "just" one hour late - it has not worked properly and I'm glad to get rid of that kind of "friends" altogether. By several You are implying 2, 3 or even more, NO I have one condition only that I can't get rid of with medication:
It's interesting to me that you spend so much time talking on these forums about your potential "friends," for which your government pays, but when people, who frequent a place you enjoy being, go out of their way to show you some Christian love you want no part of it. I guess I should be offended that you are so offended, since I do have OCD. I stand by what I said, and anyone who knows the symptoms would recognize it from your posts, not to mention the fact that you have freely offered that you have several conditions already. If you don't want comments like this, then don't post your personal details for everyone to see. You seem to have a compulsive need to post such details.
Geekbench chart => http://browser.primatelabs.com/processor-benchmarks includes new CPU's that are noticeable slow for Logos use (e.g. Intel Atom) along with models that have been available for several years. Also can search Geekbench 3 for specific models that can be compared plus can use Geekbench 3 on your hardware so can gauge relative speed.
Notebook check web site has CPU list => http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html (noticed fastest AMD FX-8350 is number 47) and graphics card list => http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html (where fastet Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 is number 110, which is noticeably slower than many AMD and NVIDIA models).
In recent years, Intel CPU performance improvements have outpaced AMD while lagging behind in graphics.
You are wrong. And You shouldn't even try to diagnose anyone online like this. Starting a thread which gets attention about a topic that doesn't interest some doesn't in this case mean someone has OCD.
Joseph, can't You read clear English
I teach English, so I am somewhat familiar with it; however, I would consider these exchanges anything other than clear.
There are many who want attention I'm not one of them.
You now have three threads going on this same topic, where you demand attention.
Don't post things like this while I need to sleep.
We don't know when you need sleep.
What Joseph did was to insult me and spread false rumours. We actually have county financed healthcare over here, much unlike the U.S.
If I insulted you then I also insulted myself, and even though it happens from time-to-time, I try not to insult myself. To be clear, I meant no offense.
Certainly, but Logos hangs up when doing new things within it. In order to follow the professor in class I would have to open all necessary books before the class starts.
Thank you for finally answering this question. Why does it hang up, and why would opening the books beforehand help? Does it just take a long time? Maybe it just needs to be reformatted to get all of the junk off and clean it up.
by using Defraggler
Make sure you don't use this on a computer with an SSD. It will shorten the life of the drive.
Maybe it just needs to be reformatted to get all of the junk off and clean it up.
Maybe it just needs to be reformatted to get all of the junk off and clean it up.If this is the machine with the pirated resources, He can't reformat or he stands a chance of relinquishing them. He explained in another thread that he test drove resources, returned them, but "Neglected" to remove them from one of his computers.
Ah, and since test driving software from a legitimate company is usually not an option, I am guessing the sources of said software explain why the computer freezes. That makes a lot of sense now.
