Difference between these Commentaries of Thomas Manton

searched for Thomas Manton commentary on James, and found 3 results:
1. The Complete works of Thomas, vol. 4. Part of a series. Maybe I could own it all one day?
2. A Practical Commentary, or An Exposition with Notes on the Epistle of James - different publication than #1, different points of content in description.
3. James: The Crossway Classic Commentaries - seems to be part of a newer translated series? perhaps this would be better, I am of Alister McGrath's work, though I don't want it to be too light.
I'm looking for a commentary that would focus on the message and application, various aspects/arguments of theologians and views, and not so much a focus on the word play and original language.
Any suggestions how to tell which of these is better, or more how they differ? I'm leaning towards #1 right now, but am not sure what I'm purchasing when compared to the others!

One and two above, same content.

Three, abridge edition from Crossway. If you are interested in the full content of Manton's James exposition then one or two will do.
