Well, Friday night came and went.
But I'd like to comment on the Logos view of culture. Best I can figure, it's the same as the Roman 'cosmos'. If it happened around the Mediterranean, than it really happened. If it happened using Mediterranean culture (greek), then it's highly valuable.
So when you read the Logos blog, the writers speak of culture as if there's just one 'culture' .... greek culture to be specific. And it's quite valuable. You'll become an unbelievably good person, well educated, and ... well, just a great all-around person. Don't you want to be that?
It's inconceivable there might be cultures outside greek that are also quite valuable. Take for instance 'latin'. Logos discovered that, after they bought the Verbum company (and adding an addendum to their Chicago endorcement). Plus there's 'Europe' ... that was accidental, after they got Perseus.
There's a rumor in Bellingham, that there's literally 'land' west of the Washington coast. 'Asia'. Millions of non-western Christians too.
Centuries back, there was rumored also a major continent south of Carthage. Hard to believe. But yes, it's true.
