SUGGESTION: Reading Lists: Categorize

Reading list are being developed by a number of people (yeah) but it's difficult to know what is out there. For example, I've not worked on a church documents project for quite some time because it was clear there was no way for users to know they were available after they fell off the "most recent" list. Or in cases of Reading Lists that were basic tools for quick web site lookup (see Web resources – full list) they are forgotten when the forum topic dies down.
I think 3 changes would improve the usefulness of this feature:
- Divide between public and private reading lists - nothing more than a visible attribute stating that it is public or private - so that people know if adding their favorite information is appropriate.
- Categorize the entries so that one can navigate by category rather than guessing the magic words as in standard wikis. Then the high level categories would let users' know what is there and what to search for.
- For long entries, being able to put an index at the top and link to headings below would make the lists more useful.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
