ipad connection issues

I have read a few posts stating difficulties controlling proclaim through a mobile device during services on Sundays. We are experiencing the same thing but it is during test runs any day of the week. We have not been able to control remotely with two different ipads. We have all the latest updates to proclaim and ios so we do not understand what could be causing this issue. The same ipad has been remotely controlling our digital soundboard with no issues.

What is the exact error message you are receiving? When you are using the remote app, is it left sitting idly for a while or do you usually change slides at a rapid pace? I am delving into this as we speak and I am trying to narrow down what the exact issue is.

I have received three different error messages just this morning while testing. "unable to change slide " was the most popular having come up four times. "presentation rendering request failed" is another. And simply "request failed" another when trying to take control with the ipad. The app was run within one minute of taking control on the "unable to change slide" fails. The slides were song lyrics and were changed at about the same pace as when being performed.

How is your iPad connected to the internet? Have you tried presentation control in a different environment to rule out a potential issue with your connection?
