Proclaim Remote App responsiveness
Is there anyway to increase the responsiveness of the Proclaim Remote app? (E.g. - faster tablet or internet; FWIW, I'm using a 3rd generation iPad, we have a strong wifi signal, and 6 Mbps connection.)
That is, today I used a standard RF remote to advance the slides on the computer, but the Proclaim Remote App (set to control the presentation), took 3-4 seconds to reflect the screen.
(I'm using the Proclaim Remote App similar to the presentation display in Keynote: showing the current and future slides.)

We're working on a new version of the remote with local wifi control capabilities which should decrease lag times for slide navigation.

Any idea on a time frame for the new version?

We're very close to releasing a public beta of the new native phone apps. Tablet support will come next, then local wifi. The new remote has a few changes that should reduce the lag time without requiring local wifi but the feature is still planned.

This past Sunday I used my tablet to control the sermon end of the presentation and it went very well (no "unable to change slide" message). Still--when I changed the slides it would change immediately on my confidence monitor but there was still a delay on my tablet. I would have to look very quickly at the tablet and confidence monitor to ensure the congregation was seeing what I was seeing. My confidence is still growing --Please continue to "increase my faith" in this tool.
Again, I really appreciate all that you are doing.
