Dr. J. C. McPheeters was the second president of Asbury Theological Seminary.  He was retired in living on campus when I was a student there in the late 1970's.  He was a spiritual giant, and an amazing man.

I recall that he water skied several miles on the Kentucky to celebrate his 80th birthday.

He was a legend in the Methodist holiness movement.

This is one of his books entitled "Conquering the Unconquerable".
