Background Help on new update

I have to say, I am extremely frustrated today with the change to the way I can access backgrounds.  I used to be able to click FILE and put in a background from my computer.  I am not able to do that now, you have to go through your new media interface, and it is extremely hard to figure out what is going on!

I tried to upload to the media database, the new background I wanted to use.  I can't find it...

It appears, that next to the "Media Library" button, there is a "File" button.  When I use that to put in a background like I used to, it inserts it as a PICTURE and not a BACKGROUND.  A background fills the entire slide frame, the pictures do not.  Can this please be fixed?

Thanks,

Jason

I'm sorry to hear the update is causing you issues. You should be able to click the File link on the left to add a background from your computer. The icon in the upper right should be the only way to add a foreground image. Is this still not working for you? If so are you on Windows or Mac? and what kind of service item are you trying to set the background on?

    Scott,

Thank you for the quick reply.  It appears to be working, thank you.  The reason I had issues is because the file I was trying to upload...well didn't upload.  Saw the error message at bottom later. My apologies for the seemingly frustrated post.

So everything does seem to be working ok.

Now here is a question...can I create my OWN media groups and organize them in an easy way?  I have 1000+ files I have uploaded to the Proclaim media library over last two years, and would love to clean it up and perhaps make my own media groups to help me organize.

    Thanks,

    Jason

This is not possible at the moment. What you could do when uploading media in the future is giving certain tags to the media; This will allow you to search for a tag and get the media that you desire.
