What is the "Rating" featureq

It seems to be that we can rate a book (like we would a song in iTunes) that way when we are skimming a list of results (like in passage guide) the resources we have found most helpful in the past jump out at us. I like this.

If you rate a book in the Library browser you can then use the rating in queries against the library: rating:>=3, for example, to find everything you rated 3 stars or higher.
In the future your ratings will be amalgamated with those of other users and you'll be able to see both "community" as well as "personal" ratings, similar to NetFlix and their movie rating system.0 -

I asked for that in the suggestions and I am really happy you included that.

I agree. I see a lot of potential for this feature.

1) I have the same question too. Apparently the rating cannot be changed in the "List" view below:
but only in the Detail view and in the Book Info window:
Can this be fixed? I would consider this a bug because I have thousands of resources, it would be easier for me to look at my library and rate my resources using the List view because it is more compact and shows more resources per screen.
2) The rating feature only work in the Book Info window opened from Library. If I am viewing a resource and then open the Book Info window by clicking on "i" on top of my resource window, then there is no rating and no "add tag".
3) I notice that "search box" does not remember my past searches. I think this is a common component, so it would be very useful for it to show a history of my past searches or expressions that I entered.
Thanks,
Franky

I agree. I want to rate in the list, and I think the same info and functions should be in both windows...at least the functions of the smaller info window (rating, editing, tagging) should be in the larger info window. And put the other fields from the listing into the info windows. Please.
I often want to tag or rate or edit a resource title after I've come to that resource from some way other than the Library. The resource window Info should be the right place to do it.
