This morning - lost connection with server a few times

A few things about this morning:

1. A song I had formatted a video background for (from your media library), showed up with a white background when I opened the presentation at church this morning. No biggie. Just changed the background, but why would that happen?

2. Video backgrounds from your media library were not playing during praise band rehearsal. Just static slides. I closed Proclaim, but when I tried to re-open it, clicking on icon or opening program would not respond. Had to re-boot computer. Proclaim worked then.

3. Very often during the service, the bottom left message "trying to connect to server" was showing continuously. I was too freaked out about possibly having to re-boot the computer, that I didn't touch it. Is "connecting to the server" an issue on our side or your side? How would I know?

4. When creating Content slides last night, Proclaim was responding **very slowly**. I cut and pasted sermon notes from a Wordpad doc and then added returns, spaces, etc. Every "space" and "return" had an extremely delayed response. Any ideas? Creating the presentation for today's service was agonizingly slow.'

This can happen when the background fails to download for some reason. If this was the case there should have been a warning triangle in the upper right of the main window. Clicking this triangle will retry the failed download.

Usually video playback issues indicate a Windows video driver issue. Are you on Windows? Have you installed all available updates?

This message is shown when the application is having trouble keeping a continuous connection with our servers open. We do this while on air in order to support the Proclaim remote and features like surveys and signals. If you don't care about these features you can dismiss the message, it won't affect the local projection.

Hmm, not quite sure what this could be. If you can reproduce the slow behavior again you could post the Proclaim.log file from that session which would allow us to diagnose further. The file can be located in the following locations based on your platform

    Mac:

• /Users/[username]/(~Library)/Application Support/Proclaim/Logging/ 
• The Library folder might be hidden. If so, hit CMD+Shift+G and enter "~/library" into the box.

     Windows: 

• %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Proclaim Log Files\
