SUGGESTION: Lenten materials

In planning for a parish based scripture study for Lent, I've discovered that there are surprisingly few Lenten resources for a Catholic parish in Verbum. Please add some of the following resource types - selecting publishers and products that can realistically be available for Lent 2015:

  • Seven Last Words devotionals or studies
  • Stations of the Cross - a variety especially included those that have been used in the Vatican, those emphasizing a Biblical base, and those that are "traditional"
  • daily Lenten readings especially the "journey through Lent with" style with contemporary authors

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
