I can't figure it out.I think this program may work out well for me, but learning it without any real documentation is maddening...

In the text editor - on a blank slide - it suggests leaving a blank link to force a new slide
Does this give you what you want?

Hello Peter,
You can also use custom verse labels (string surrounded by square brackets) to create a blank verse, then reference it in the custom order sequence to insert the blank slide where you like, even multiple times.
That helped... I created a blank "chorus 3".
Seems a clunky way to do it, but a LOT seems clunky about this program.
